Together with a new product portfolio
On 1 st January, 2004 the Petrochemical Division of MOL Group integrating Slovnaft a.s and TVK Plc. was established and started its operation, leaving the two companies legally independent.
TVK Rt. and Slovnaft a.s are traditional sole producers of polymer raw materials in Hungary and in Slovakia. Due to its capacity and strategic aims TVK built up own sales network, offices in Austria, Germany, France, Italy, UK, Poland and Russia several years ago. From 2004 both Slovnaft and TVK polyolefins are sold through this network.
TVK and SN together have strong position not only in the domestic markets but in other CEE markets, too. Taking into consideration that Central European polyolefin markets will likely to grow faster than the Western European polyolefin markets in the next years the strategic conception of MOL Group in Petrochemicals is to provide the highest product quality and excellent service to our customers in this area, as well.
Having these trend expectations in sight, PETCHEM opens new offices in Ukraine and Romania to offer better services and direct contact to customer active on these markets, too.
