In May 2006, after PSO project had been successfully finished MOL Group initiated its second group level efficiency improvement program named GLOBAL 5 project.

PSO Project was launched in April 2004 with the involvement of a large number of MOL Group employees. The main goal of the project was to gain an overview and streamline the purchasing expenditures of the integrated company.

Duration of efficiency improvement incentive GLOBAL 5 is planned to last from May 2006 till November 2008. The respective projects are dedicated to the pilot wave and 4 further waves.

The main objective of Global 5 Waves is also to create a cost competitive supplier base through joint activities between MOL Group companies and its suppliers.
