The Tiszadob Piano Festival

We are in tune with success! Since 1998, the Tiszadob Piano Festival has been one of the most prestigious classical music events in Hungary. We are very pleased to sponsor a classical music festival that meets such high European standards.

A classical music festival entitled the "Piano Celebration in the East" was first organised in the Andrássy Palace in August, 1998.

An outstanding event

The artistic director of the Festival today is its founder, the pianist Adrienne Hauser. The Tiszadob Piano Festival, which has won the Henry Ford Award, is one of the most prestigious classical music events in Hungary.

The Tiszadobi Visitor Centre

The Festival´s international reputation has provided the basis for an other important cultural investment - a visitor centre, worth HUF 40 billion, will be built on the former Andrássy Estate, partially in the Palace, and partially in the surrounding park.

This investment, partially supported by EU funds, is an important part of the National Development Plan. The Tiszadobi centre will be completed by 2013.

The Tiszadob Piano Festival 2011 salutes Franz Liszt, occasion of the bicentenary jubilee of his birth

The following artists will appear between 6-9 of August: Adrienne Hauser, Károly Mocsári, Julia Vanjushina, Gergely Bogányi, Zoltán Kocsis and his chamber partners.
