Effective crisis management and preparation for future challenges - MOL's Articles of Association amended

MOL Plc held its annual general meeting today, 23 April 2009, in Budapest. The shareholders present accepted the Board of Directors’ report on business operations for 2008 and approved the consolidated 2008 annual reports drawn up according to IFRS as required by accounting law. The AGM has also made significant decisions to allow for effective protection against stealth attempts to acquire the company.

“Bronze medal” in accountability in 2008

The strategic and communications advisory form, Braun & Partners Network CSR has announced the accountability rating of the major Hungarian companies – Accountability Rating Hungary 2008 – for the third time. The rating was again topped by Magyar Telekom, followed by MOL and TVK managed to grab the third prize!
