Our company makes continuous efforts to maintain and improve safe working conditions, and the continuous improvement of accident statistics justifies such expenditures.

Achievement of our aims is not possible without our employees’ commitment to Health Preservation, Safety Technology and Environment Protection. Our employees receive education on safety technology not only when they are hired but their relevant knowledge is assessed on a regular basis, they are continuously informed about relating changes and continuing education is also provided if necessary.

Each year, we hold the series of events entitled ’Safety Month’ where a program is established upon experience gained in the period lapsed since the previous year’s event. We strive for providing participants with professional novelties, in addition to traditional elements such as the health preservation week, Health, Safety & Environment Forum, quizzes and study trips. The Technical Supervisory Authority as well as the healthcare provider of our company are involved in our events. During several presentations, persuasive images and data are disclosed, revealing how important safety, ethics, the role of the management and people’s attitude are in the case of a company applying hazardous technology.

The Health, Safety & Environment Forum is an important event where participants, i.e. external partners, authorities, professional organizations and the work safety committee, may receive information on the previous year’s Health, Safety & Environment performance of TVK Nyrt., and Health, Safety & Environment aims set for the current year. Last year, HUF 218 million was spent on safety technology investments.

Our efforts are confirmed by numbers as well because no fatal work accident has occurred at the company for years, and indices are continuously improving relating to events with lesser consequences as well.
